Tim Godbey has been a Kentucky educator for the past twenty-four years serving as classroom teacher, athletic coach, assistant principal and head principal.   During his tenure as high school principal, Tim was successfully able to transform one of Kentucky’s persistently low-achieving schools into a school of distinction.  This effort led to his current role with the Kentucky Department of Education as Educational Recovery Director where he oversees school turnaround work in various parts of the state.  Mr. Godbey earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Middle School Education and a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership from Eastern Kentucky University.
