PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
PRESENTATIONS ARE GOING VIRTUAL!
In light of all recent events, NAESPA has made the decision to transition the 2021 National ESEA Conference to an entirely virtual event allowing everone to participate from the safety and comfort of their own homes or spaces. Throughout this period of dynamic change, you can depend on us, to be honest, responsive and transparent. Our top priority is to ensure everyones' safety and to uphold the values of the education community that we serve.
As we emerge from lockdown and adjust to a ‘new normal’ there are many unanswered questions about what district, state and local education leaders will be facing in the weeks, months and years ahead. This year’s online conference provides a timely opportunity for educators to consider new pedagogical approaches to ‘deliver differently’ for the foreseeable future. Furthermore, it is clear how the pandemic has highlighted the health, wealth and social inequalities across society. This presents particular challenges and opportunities for our work as leaders in education. The National ESEA Conference will explore this through presentations, group and peer discussions that share best practice, debate emerging realities and plan for future collaboration.
Live-stream and pre-recorded presentations give speakers the opportunity to avoid expenses and time required to travel, reduce their carbon footprint, and share ideas online. Additionally, many of the same benefits enjoyed by presenters at traditional in-person conferences are also available to online presenters, including engaging in Q&A, video publishing in the National ESEA Conference Video On Demand subscription service, and participating in discussions with other scholars around the country.
Proposals for Exhibitor Sessions are now closed. Thank you to all that applied. We encourage you to explore the Exhibitor Page to see if you would want to exhibit and have a steady presence at the conference.
