Brian Burnaugh is a teacher, a leader, and a learner. He is currently a proud assistant principal at City View Elementary in Metro Atlanta. Mr. Burnaugh has spent twenty years serving Title I schools in the Cobb County School District. During this time, he has concentrated his efforts on building strong relationships with students, teachers and the community. He is passionate about engaging all stakeholders in the learning process. Through this involvement with the total school community, he realized the importance that climate and culture play in successful students and successful schools. A key component of a positive school climate and culture is Social-emotional learning for all. Mr. Burnaugh has worked with the City View team to continually develop and nurture a positive climate and culture that supports the entire school community through social-emotional learning.
