Carolyne V. Quintana is the Principal of Bronxdale High School in the Bronx, NY. She has worked in education as a principal, department chair, and teacher for over 15 years. Her work at Bronxdale has focused on shaping school practices focused on meaningful learning which have led to improved motivation, and created a great sense of belonging, for staff and students. Quintana holds a Bachelor’s from University of Texas-Austin, two Master’s from Bank Street College and The New School.

Dr. Wachera Brown has proven be to an effective instructional leader, focused on creating a culture of learning that reflects high expectations for all stakeholders. She has embraced the concepts of distributive leadership, teacher voice, and job embedded professional development. In addition, Dr. Brown successfully utilizes Professional Learning Communities to implement critical components of the Schools mission, vision and goals. These essential factors has contributed to increases in overall standardized test scores and has shown to positively impact the school's culture and climate.
