Increasingly, school administrators are asked to lead collaborative teams using the practices of Distributed Leadership through a continuous improvement process aimed at increasing student achievement. As we look toward the integration of our work so as to accomplish this task, we need to ensure effective use of team time. This presentation is intended to increase the know-how of school leaders and administrators in the art of team facilitation using the constructs of Distributed Leadership, adult learning theory, Jim Knight's Partnership Principles and a variety of facilitator tools and tips to enhance the effectiveness of team meetings.
