Dr. McCutcheon implemented Genius Hour for grades 3-5 at Randall Elementary beginning during the 2015-2016 school year. The building is currently in it's fourth year of implementing Genius Hour. Dr. McCutcheon has presented nationally on the topic, and has recently been a guest on Don Wettrick's podcast, "Start EdUp" where he discussed the school's Genius Hour journey. An avid user of social media, Dr. McCutcheon tweets frequently on the topic, and has guest hosted a Genius Hour 2.0 Twitter chat for @GeniusHour which has over 20,000 followers.
