Designed for both those new to Genius Hour and seasoned veterans alike, we will discuss the rationale behind Genius Hour, it's implementation, and how you can elevate Genius Hour to the next level. Genius Hour is a way to help students identify the place where their passions and talents intersect. Students self-select projects based on their own personal passion and create products, presentations, or perform a service that puts that passion into action. Genius Hour 2.0 will help bring new ideas to your current Genius Hour as well as motivate those who are considering implementing this in their classroom or building. Additionally, this presentation will cover how social media, parent/community involvement, and outside experts can and should play a vital role in elevating Genius Hour.
