Eftihia (Effie) Triol has been the Regional Literacy Coordinator for ESD 112 since July of 2014. She provides focused professional development and instructional support to educators. Effie brings extensive experience creating and delivering professional development and leadership in the areas of the foundational skills of literacy, equity and diversity, MTSS and supporting ELs. Her previous experience includes serving as a K-2 classroom teacher, Literacy Coach, RtI Coach and an ELL Coach, for Vancouver Public Schools. Effie holds a B.A in psychology from the University of Washington and a Masters in Teaching from Washington State University, as well as administrative and program manager credentials from City University. At the state level Effie serves on the Statewide Dyslexia Council and the Fellows Teacher Leadership Advisory Network.
