Sharon Dunn, M.Ed, recently retired principal of Loudon Elementary in the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District, Bakersfield, California, has ten years of experience as the principal of Loudon Elementary building capacity to improve reading outcomes. Her leadership expertise and school data were featured in the DIBELS (Acadience) Newsletter nationwide. She was featured in the Glean Education Educational Leadership podcast – The Power of PD & Coaching in School Literacy Improvement. She presented her school's journey of literacy improvement and success at the California Department of Education Title 1 Conference - Wild About ESSA, as well as the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Mid-State Conference. Sharon supports schools and districts with instructional leadership & coaching and develops systems and structures for improved reading outcomes for struggling students as a MTSS Leadership Consultant.
