LEAP - A Proactive Approach to Strengthening the Core of Teaching and Learning for ALL!

Friday February 1, 2019
10:30 - 11:30 AM
Grand Ballroom 2501 C

Come and take a LEAP with us! This dynamic education trio will lead participants through their journey to establish a community of collaboration across 46 Title I Schools. This process began during SY: 2015-2016 when the trio set out on a mission to align instructional practices across clusters of schools, which promises to provide an anchor for learners while supporting their transition from one academic band to the next. Extending on this work, the trio added to this already dynamic system a process to provide students with an advanced preview of the upcoming year's curriculum along with the implementation of a systematic method to view and analyze achievement data to support learning at high levels. Improved partnerships, clarity of expectations, stronger PLC teams and a systematic view of data are just a few of the amazing outcomes of this work. Participants will leave with information that will encourage consideration of a similar work in their environment.
