Dr. Perez is the Deputy Director of the National Center for Urban School Transformation. She has been engaged in identifying and studying high-performing urban schools since 2006. she is the author of multiple articles, reports, and books including "Teaching Practices for America's Best Urban Schools" and "Leadership in America's Best Urban Schools."
