Dr. Staley’s work with teachers and administrators has centered on building students’ conceptual understanding, procedural skills, and problem solving. The focus of the work has centered on understanding where students are on the continuum from concrete to representation to abstract in order to plan for instruction and building a strong problem solving foundation.
