Kimberly Lilienthal is Senior Director in Educational Services for Placer County Office of Education and is administrator for their five state accredited educator preparation programs. Kimberly earned a BA from University of the Pacific and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Brandman University. Kimberly has been involved in professional learning, coaching and mentoring based projects for the past 19 years, 7 years at the district level and 12 years with the County Office. Past projects have included West Ed Math Matters, three California MSP grants, three USDOE Teaching American History grants, and educator preparation/credentialing. Kimberly’s focus in education has been on professional learning activities that are sustained and embedded in practice. One of the things she appreciates most about her work at the county office is collaborating with educational researchers and other instructional and educator preparation leaders across the state.
