Dr. Susan S. Silver is the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction at the Upper Merion Area School District; a diverse public school district outside of Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Silver co-chairs the District's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Dr. Silver and the Upper Merion Area School District received the "2019 Moral and Courageous Commitment to Equity Award" from Cabrini University Center for Urban Education, Equity, and Improvement. In addition, Dr. Silver is an Adjunct Professor at Arcadia University in Glenside, PA. She prepares graduate and doctoral students for roles in curriculum and instruction, pupil services, and educational leadership.
