Gisel has been with the district since 2016. As a migrant family liaison, she works to identify and recruit children with a mobile agricultural background. She provides advocacy and resources to children and their families by collaborating with community agencies and district educators.  Relevant focus areas have included paraprofessional work with ELL kids in PreK through High School, facilitating Active Parenting and Families In Action classes, and being part of the Idaho Association of Bilingual Education board.
