Dr. Charles “Bryan” Jenkins is a Management Analyst at the U.S. Department of Education, in the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. Bryan previously worked in the Office of Postsecondary Education as a Program Officer for the National Resource Centers program, Foreign Language and Areas Studies Program, and the International Research and Studies program, overseeing the Africa, Canada, International, and Western Europe portfolios. Prior to that, he served as a Management and Program Analyst in the Department’s Office of Federal Student Aid, where he conducted assessments of the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of financial aid programs.

Bryan is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, licensed in Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, where he has served large metropolitan area school districts and rural school districts. Prior to that, as a graduate research assistant, Bryan developed data collection protocols to analyze large student datasets for accountability, research evaluation, and performance management projects. Bryan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Kennesaw State University, an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Tennessee, and a Doctorate in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from George Washington University.
