Always take the cupcake refers to the small steps that can ensure stronger school administration teams with effective systems and structures. This presentation will give simplistic strategies of how to use emotional intelligence to move from manager to transformational leadership in your school. Strategies will include ways to build culture and climate while simultaneously refining your systems and structures to promote student and staff success.

Lara Donnelly

Lara has been working in this highly functional administration team for seven school year. In addition, her doctoral work in educational leadership helped propel her knowledge in the topic and helped take the team to the next level.
Jill Handley

Jill has been the principal at Kenwood Elementary for 15 years leading highly functioning administration teams to promote school success for staff, students, and families. She has presented at the local, state and national level.
