Dr. Patty Hosfelt has served in Title I schools for 17 years, starting her career as an elementary teacher and has served as principal in three schools since 2008. Most recently, Patty was appointed planning principal before opening her current Title I school in 2018 in Frederick County, Maryland. Patty holds a Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood/elementary education from Frostburg State University, Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Hood College, and an Ed. D. in educational leadership from Frostburg State University.  Patty’s doctoral program was completed in 2017 with a thesis featuring a program evaluation focused on increasing student engagement and understanding of core content through arts integration.  She has served for over a decade as an adjunct professor, advisor, and program coordinator in the graduate program for educational leaders at Hood College.
