Tanya Collins serves IRIS as an indispensable member of the center’s resource-development team. In this role, Tanya works with content experts, writes and reviews instructional resources, and presents at conferences both locally and nationwide. Tanya brings to the IRIS team 18+ years of diverse experience working with K-12 public schools as teacher, instructional coach, and administrator. Her professional experience prior to joining the IRIS Center includes working with state systems to enhance and improve their professional development and instructional design. With a masters in Curriculum and Instruction focused in Literacy working toward her PhD, both Tanya’s career path and interest have focused on how districts braid both behavior and academics in school-wide Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports.
