Supporting English Learners Under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act
U.S. Department of Education staff will present pertinent data and discuss effective practices that support all students, including English learners and children with disabilities. Presenters will discuss challenges related to student identification, leveraging academic support services, and professional development to improve outcomes for culturally and linguistically diverse students.

Amy Bae is an Education Program Specialist in the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) at the U.S. Department of Education. In OSEP she supports States and Part C Lead Agencies to ensure effective implementation of the IDEA Part B and C. She works across the Department supporting programs and services for English learners with disabilities.
