Aaron Butler,, Ph.D. leads technical assistance for the State Support Network. Dr. Butler has more than 15 years of experience in public education spanning rural, suburban, and urban districts. He has extensive experience with district improvement planning and budgeting.

Gayellyn Jacobson is the Chief Financial Officer for the Beaverton School District in Oregon.  She has worked for the district for sixteen years in a variety of positions starting at the schools and moving to the central office in the Business Services Department.  Her work has centered on budget and equitable resource allocation strategies.  Before coming to Beaverton, she worked in private industry and public accounting earning her CPA.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Anthropology from the University of California at Davis and did her accounting studies at the University of Oregon.

Renee Sullivan is a Senior Communications Specialist at ERS. Sullivan's work includes leading cohorts of districts through conversations around resource equity in context of per-pupil expenditure reporting. She serves as a expert on resource allocation for the State Support Network.

Mike has worked for the Oregon Department of Education since 2006 and has served in a variety of roles including the State School Fund Coordinator, American Recovery and Restoration Act Coordinator, Director of School Finance, Director of Pupil Transportation, and the Director of School Facilities. Often times serving in multiple capacities at the same time.  Currently, as the Director of School Finance and School Facilities, he oversees the State School Fund, which is Oregon’s primary source of funding for K-12 education. He also oversees the Chart of Accounts for school finance accounting, district budgets and audits for financial reporting, Uniform Guidance and sub-recipient monitoring, federal financial reporting, the school capital matching grant program, the technical assistance program for facility assessments, and numerous data collections and data sets.
