Along with the students, parents and staff that have to be managed and led, it is easy to get lost in the day to day operations of running a building or a classroom. What if you had a go to list of simple ways to promote change and positivity in your building? Would you try an idea? Would it make a difference? Even the happiest people are looking for new ways to become engaged in schools by collaborating and sharing with others. Join Principals Ryan Eckart and Amy Yoos as they share 21 Keys to a Positive School Culture & Student Success. The session will energize you and make you want to return to your building immediately to try out a new idea. When our students, families and staff members are excited about coming to school and happy when they are there, we will see higher levels of engagement, excitement and energy. Ryan has been a school administrator for 9 years. He has worked to build a positive culture and climate in all of his schools as he learned what the needs are of each building. Ryan has built a strong support system including educators in person and online that provide feedback and ideas in line with the goals for his school. He cherishes the moments when students, families and staff realize how excited and energized they are when they are at school.
Amy Yoos

Amy has built a positive school culture in multiple schools in her urban district. She strives to empower staff members as they encourage students. Amy's positive attitude carries throughout all of the work that she does with students and staff.
