From F to B: Leveraging Federal Funds and Instructional Systems for Rapid Turnaround

How do you move a school from a projected F to a B in one year? In this high-impact virtual workshop, Elizabeth Bostic—District Grants Manager and former campus administrator—shares how Ruby Young P-STEAM Academy used Title I, ESSER, and SAF grants to drive data-centered transformation. Participants will examine real-time intervention trackers, coaching systems, and walkthrough protocols. Learn how federal funds were not just spent, but strategically stacked to change teacher practice, improve student outcomes, and meet state accountability metrics. Attendees will engage in hands-on planning using digital tools and leave with a replicable playbook aligned to the TEA Effective Schools Framework.
