Education's Changing Landscape in Light of Recent Supreme Court Cases

The Supreme Court has recently published numerous decisions that have a direct impact on federal education and the grants that the U.S. Department of Education administers. This session will discuss recent case decisions that have affected federal agency deference, commonly referred to as Chevron deference (Loper Bright and Relentless) as well as changes to the statute of limitations for challenging federal agency actions (Corner Post). The session will also discuss charter school funding cases and any other recent cases before the Supreme Court that may impact federal education programs.
