Karen Campbell is the Director of the Office of Supplemental Educational Programs in the New Jersey Department of Education. She is responsible for the oversight and implementation of Title I Part A, Title I Part C (Migrant), Title III (Federal Bilingual), and McKinney-Vento (Homeless). She and her staff work with over 400 districts to promote educational equity for what she believes are the most vulnerable students in the educational process. The Office provides technical assistance to and monitors school districts and is responsible for intra-agency program communications. Since assuming the role of Director in 2011, Karen has promoted a culture of advocacy, support and compliance to ensure that “vulnerable students” are given the opportunity to succeed.
