Join us for strategies to create possibilities in Parent and Family Engagement (PFE)! Together we will review current research data on PFE interventions targeted at increasing student academic success - What the research says! We will explore the connection between PFE and school climate, culture, and improvement to see the possibilities that are created with strong PFE. We will collaboratively strive together to increase our PFE skills and explore suggestions to overcome barriers for PFE with diverse families, especially families of English learners and immigrants (Title III, Part A), using evidence-based practices. We will share evidence and data from Texas schools - What the actions show! Our goal is to enhance the ability of schools and districts to provide all children with the opportunity to receive equitable, high-quality education through strengthened Title I, Part A, Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) and help close the educational achievement gaps.
