Tina Fritz Namian

Tina Fritz Namian is Branch Chief for the School Meals Policy Branch at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service. Tina came to USDA as a Presidential Management Fellow in 2008. She served for five years as the Branch Chief of the Community Meals Policy Branch managing policy issues relating to the Child and Adult Care Food Program and the Summer Food Service Program. Since 2015, she has managed policy issues relating to the School Meal Programs. Ms. Namian has over 25 years of experience working on Federal policy issues relating to children, including child nutrition, child welfare, and child labor. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America and a JD from the University of Kentucky
