Lindsey Marquardt has served as the principal at Rocky Ridge Elementary for five years. During her time at Rocky Ridge, Marquardt has been able to take the ELA and math state assessment scores from in the 30%'s overall to 60%! She has implemented a number of different systems that have contributed to this student success; including school-wide PBIS as well as a school-wide intervention system. Her teaching career began in the Federal Way public schools as a middle level math teacher. She then advanced into a district level math TOSA before moving to Bethel School District to begin her assistant principal work at the High School level. Marquardt has a B.A. in Education from Central Washington University and M. ED from City University with a certificate in Administration and Leadership.
