What Works: Advancing Evidence-Based Interventions at the District & State Level (Round 1)

Tuesday February 4, 2020
10:30 - 11:10 AM
A404/405

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation invites district and state leaders to engage in a conversation about their roles as decision makers, the networks that help to support these decisions, and how these decisions influence others. Through a series of exercises and small group discussions, attendees will have an opportunity to learn from peers about their decision-making strategies and share best practices. Additionally, participation in this session yields the opportunity for leaders to share insights from the field that can inform the Gates Foundation’s understanding of how state and district leaders access quality research and resources, including the challenges they face, and where there are opportunities to improve and support this system.
