With the goal of improving reading outcomes for all elementary students, we focus on data-driven decision making to select appropriate reading interventions. Participants will learn a systematic process to efficiently analyze screening data and identify appropriate reading interventions based on a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework. We will share decision making protocols to use with school assessment data for decision at tiers 1 and 2 within an MTSS. These resources provide clarity in the use and analysis of screening, diagnostic, and progress monitoring data, and will help focus data meetings. The tools shared in this presentation are universal so that participants may apply the learning and make site based connections.

Tuesday, February 4: Matthew Burns will be signing copies of his book outside room A308, beginning at 5:15pm.
