Heidi Crawford has worked for the U.S. Census Bureau for 20 years on projects such as Geographic Programs and Decennial Census Operations. She has worked with a variety of organizations over the course of her career including state/tribal/local governments, businesses, academia and non-profits. She has provided support and training to these various organizations on Census data and tools and geographic programs by conducting workshops, webinars, and presentations. Heidi currently serves as a Program Liaison with the Statistics in Schools Program (SIS). Heidi’s primary focus is outreach and engagement with pre-K-12 educational organizations. The SIS program provides free materials to improve students’ statistical literacy and prepare them for an increasingly data-driven world.
