Matthew Write

Special Agent Write has been the lead investigator on federal investigations of bank, wire and mail fraud. He has also led fraud investigations of Title IV, CARES Act, embezzlement, public corruption, and theft of federal funding.

Special Agent Matthew Write has 22 years of combined federal service law enforcement service. He began his career serving in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Sinai, Egypt. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin he served as a U.S. Customs Officer in Milwaukee, WI. He then became a federal agent in St Louis, MO with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service where his focus specialties were mail, bank and wire fraud. In 2021, he was hired as a special agent with the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Inspector General in Dallas, TX.
