Creating Belonging and Building Resilience in Girls Through Connection and Confidence

Girls are facing a crisis of confidence, and schools are uniquely positioned to help. In this interactive workshop, participants will explore how to build micro-communities that foster belonging, resilience, and self-worth in girls, particularly during the pivotal upper elementary and middle school years. Grounded in research and real-life examples from Rise Girl™ partner schools, the session will highlight simple, school-based strategies that integrate SEL, movement, mindset, and connection. Attendees will engage in hands-on planning and leave with a personalized "Confidence Community Plan" to take back and implement in their own schools or districts. Walk away with ready-to-use tools, peer collaboration, and renewed energy to support girls in thriving—socially, emotionally, and academically.
