Ivonne I. Jaime
Ivonne I. Jaime joined the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Academic Improvement (OAI) in 2006. During her time in OAI, she managed the Mathematics and Science Partnerships program, the High School Graduation Initiative, and the Advanced Placement Incentive program. As team leader, she oversaw all aspects of the programs including competitions for new awards, continuation awards for existing grantees, and technical assistance efforts.
In 2016, she joined the Office of Safe and Supportive Schools to assist with the implementation of the Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants (Title IV, Part A) program. Currently, she oversees the monitoring and performance reporting components of grants management for the Title IV, Part A program.
Before working for the U.S. Department of Education, she worked for the Job Corps program as a vocational instructor at the Miami Job Corps Center and as a program administrator for the Employment and Training Administration at the U.S. Department of Labor.
Ivonne holds a master’s degree in Adult Education and Human Resource Development from Florida International University.
