Dr. Chris Boccanfuso is the Branch Chief for the Institute of Education Science’s (IES) Regional Educational Lab program. He has been with the Department of Education for 11 years (all with the REL program), and specializes research-practice partnerships, charter schools, research methodologies, and social-emotional learning. He holds a Masters and Doctorate in Sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
