Maximizing Support from the Department’s Technical Assistance Centers
The Department funds over 50 Technical Assistance (TA) Centers designed to support implementation of federal programs. Some Centers are regional in nature and provide support to specific states (Comprehensive Centers, Regional Educational Laboratories) and others provide national, topical support. In this session, participants will understand the landscape of the Department’s TA Centers, what they do and how they work together, and how to request support. Participants will learn more about how Regional Comprehensive Centers and RELs work together with states, and understand key areas of support, including social, emotional, behavioral wellness and mental health, provided by national TA Centers.
