Dr. Tracey Scott
Dr. Tracey Scott is a Group Leader in the Office of Program and Grantee Support Services at the U.S. Department of Education. In this role, she provides leadership for the Department's Student Engagement and Attendance Center and Equity Assistance Centers. Dr. Scott began her career in education as a school counselor and later went on serve in multiple roles at the district-level, providing training and support to schools in areas such as attendance, college access, mental health, and school counseling services. For over the past 15 years; Dr. Scott has focused her work on promoting equity where she has led program evaluation, data analysis, and strategic planning efforts to ensure all students have access to college and careers. Dr. Scott earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Howard University, and a doctoral degree in education from George Mason University.
