An overview of the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Inspector General, its mission, components and response to fraud and corruption in Federal education programs.

Presenters
John Carlo

John Carlo, Assistant Special Agent in Charge, U.S. Department of Education, Office of Inspector General, Investigation Services, Eastern Region. With many years of investigations experience for ED OIG, ASAC Carlo supervises and leads investigative teams in ED OIG's Eastern Region, conducting investigations into allegations of fraud, waste and abuse involving Federal education funding and programs.

Mark Deckett

Mark Deckett, Resident Agent in Charge, U.S. Department of Education, Office of Inspector General, Investigation Services, Boston Field Office. With many years of combined investigations experience for ED OIG, RAC Deckett supervises and leads investigative teams in ED OIG's Eastern Region, conducting investigations into allegations of fraud, waste and abuse involving Federal education funding and programs.
