Dr. Leslie Laud is a national expert in writing instruction who has taught in both general and special education settings and served as a principal. She holds a doctorate from Columbia University and currently leads large-scale, federally funded research studies on evidence-based writing practices. She regularly publishes in peer-reviewed journals and presents at national conferences.

Kathleen McCaffery

Dr. Kathleen McCaffery serves as the Reading and Writing Specialist at the New Hampshire Department of Education. She has over 16 years of experience as a public school educator and spent seven years in clinical practice delivering evidence-based literacy interventions. She holds a Doctorate in Education from Northeastern University, where her research focused on technology-integrated spelling and phonology instruction. Dr. McCaffery leads state literacy initiatives and supports educators in implementing structured, data-informed practices aligned to the Science of Reading.
