What is it about boys and school? Their academic trajectory is concerning. Their negative views about school are perhaps even more troubling. Boys often blurt out answers to be first...and yet they refuse to ask for help. By high school, they often prop their heads up from fatigue, but somehow they have the energy to race each other down the hall. This session is a call to action about what is known as "The Boy Crisis." Participants will leave with an arsenal of information to create a plan to change the trajectory of male learners. More importantly, a deeper understanding will emerge of what it is like to be a boy in school.
