From Islands to Ecosystems: Cultivating Interconnected Learning Communities

The Ripple Effect: How Connected Communities Transform Student Success- Learn how North Clackamas School District transformed Title I schools through four interconnected frameworks: student learning communities, professional learning communities, and distributed leadership networks. This MTSS-aligned approach achieved outstanding success at second grade, where multiple schools in Title I status outperformed higher SES counterparts. Interactive workshop includes stakeholder mapping, data protocols, and action planning tools. Participants will experience collaborative processes, assess current systems, and develop implementation strategies for sustainable community-building that connects classroom instruction, teacher development, and family engagement within existing federal program structures.
