ESEA Compliance Concerns and Best Practices
This session will review top compliance concerns regarding ESEA programs based on recent and top audit findings. Topics include maintenance of effort, timeliness of spending, carryover limitations, equitable services, and other top audit findings and priorities. The presentation will also review best practices and advise on how best to move forward to ensure compliance.

Ms. Kesslar has been an education lawyer and consultant for over 15 years, working for state educational agencies, school districts and other organizations on federal education compliance since she began her career. She has successfully litigated administrative appeals and due process cases before various tribunals.
