Equitable Services: Major Requirements and Upcoming Issues
This session will discuss the requirements for Equitable Services by addressing how to navigate both programmatic and fiscal aspects related to providing equitable services. Attendees will receive information about programmatic issues concerning the requirements for consultation and outreach to private schools.  A discussion will cover options for resource pooling and eligibility for providing new services. The role of the ombudsman and the complaint process will be outlined. Lastly, the session will touch on fiscal topics, including proportionate share and calculating the allowability of funds when managing carryover.
