EDFacts OMB Package Webinar Registration - SYs 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25

The Department of Education would like to invite you to a webinar on Thursday, September 1st from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. ET with the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) and the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE). The purpose of the webinar is to provide an overview of the changes included in the OMB Package for SYs 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 and allow attendees to ask program-related questions about the collection and file specifications.

 

As a reminder, the EDFacts Information Collection package for SY 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 is now available (OMB Control Number 1850-0925). The package may be accessed at the following link: https://edfacts.communities.ed.gov/#program/resources (in the “EDFacts OMB Package Resources and Tools folder). This approved package expires June 30, 2025.

 

Registration for this webinar is available via Webex. If you are unable to attend the webinar, the PowerPoint slide deck and a recording of the presentation will be posted to the EDFacts Community of Practice site.

About the Author

Patrick Rooney is the Director of two offices--Evidence-Based Practices Assessment and Accountability and School Support and Accountability within ED’s Office of Elementary and Secondary Education. Before this recent appointment, Mr. Rooney was the Deputy Director of the Office of State Support.  Prior to joining the Office of State Support, Mr. Rooney worked in the Implementation and Support Unit, where he helped lead the work of the Reform Support Network, providing technical assistance to states implementing comprehensive Race to the Top reforms, and the Race to the Top Assessment program, which provided grants to groups of states to develop new assessments aligned to state’s college- and career-ready standards. Mr. Rooney also worked in the DC Office of State Superintendent of Education, where he was a senior policy advisor and worked on a wide variety of K-12 issues in the District of Columbia.
