Sam Strother has worked with on Developing Mathematical Thinking projects in a variety of roles such as associate director, lead professional development facilitator, research assistant and project school classroom teacher. He has published articles on topics such as developing fact fluency, teaching fractions, teaching place value and assessment in mathematics. He is currently coordinating professional development projects in three Title I schools in southern Idaho focused on improving students' achievement in mathematics.
