Michigan Integrated Continuous Improvement Process: Students Achieving Their Potential

The Michigan Integrated Continuous Improvement Process (MICIP) brings together an entire district community to ensure that all students are equitably supported with research-based practices needed to address Whole Child needs, enabling them to achieve at high levels. Participants will experience the MICIP process and platform by exploring how to assess needs and assets, build effective plans, and braid and blend various funding streams, including federal, state, and local sources. Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of continuous improvement from a systems perspective and with a toolkit of resources that are not only useful for MICIP but can be applied to a wide variety of continuous improvement processes and systems. MICIP provides its users with a practical framework for recommitting to actions that address the needs of all students, renewing a commitment to do whatever it takes, and reimagining a future where all students, families, and educators can be successful.
