Lenay Dunn
Lenay Dunn, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Associate at WestEd where she provides research, evaluation, technical assistance, consultation, and strategic planning on topics including systemic reform, implementation, policy analysis, equity, and school and district improvement. Over the past decade, Dr. Dunn’s research has largely focused on the implementation of systemic reforms such as small schools, Reading First, state and district systems of support, and college and career going initiatives. She currently serves on the Center on School Turnaround at WestEd where she leads and supports various initiatives to build the capacity of states to support turnaround. Dr. Dunn entered the education field as a teacher; after teaching she spent several years leading programs to support effective learning environments and opportunities for low-income students and under-resourced schools.
