The Power of Career Connected Education: Help Students Find Their Future

Learn how the addition of a community connected, culturally relevant Career and Technical Education program has increased student success at Chief Leschi Schools, a state-tribal education compact school in Puyallup, Washington. See how the program was designed specifically for the community served, and why that is important to program success. Hear from students, teachers and community members (via video) as they explain the power and importance of this program. Included will be a description of the school's Internship program along with ideas for how to build similar programs in your district.
