Zollie Stevenson, Jr., Ph.D., served as the Director of the Office of Student Support and School Accountability at the U.S. Department of Education from 2007 to 2010 and is currently an Associate Professor at Department of Educational Administration and Policy, School of Education, Howard University.  

Prior to USDE, Dr. Stevenson was the director of research, assessment and evaluation in the Baltimore City Public Schools. Prior to Baltimore, he served as the research director for the District of Columbia (DCPS) and Charlotte/Mecklenburg public school systems.
