Serving All Students: With a Focus on English Learners and Children with Disabilities

During this session, presenters will describe how States and local educational agencies effectively support all students, including English learners and children with disabilities.  Presenters will discuss how approaches, including Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI), can help struggling students and how federal funds under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act can be leveraged to support programs and services for all students.  Presenters will address this topic from both the federal and state perspectives.  This session will feature staff from the U.S. Department of Education, State and local practitioners and subject matter experts from partner organizations.
